Meet Caitlin

Oh hi there! I'm Caitlin J. McColl (CJ for short)
Here are four quick facts about me to give you an idea about who I am and what I do . . .

1. My soul dog, Lyra, changed my life when she inspired me to start Ragamuffin Pet Photography back in 2010. At just 20 years old, I didn't have a speck of business knowledge - but I had my dog by my side, a camera round my neck and the determination to succeed. 

2. I built my business from a part-time passion to a six-figure career in under twelve months - and it was all thanks to (you guessed it!) a fundraising book project. Since then I've published three books (Tails of Melbourne, Tails of Tasmania and Tails of Adoption), founded the Tails of World Collective and launched this program to teach photographers around the world how to use the Self-Publishing Strategy!

3. I'm totally geeky about creative small business, which lead me to co-hosting The Pet Photographers Club Podcast. Every week we interview successful photographers and experts and it makes me SO HAPPY to be spreading knowledge so that others can grow their own businesses. 

4. I'm a bit of an introvert and a lot of a dork. And 100% Ravenclaw.
