Caitlin McColl is recognised as one of the world's top pet photographers, having photographed thousands of dogs over the years.

She began her career as a fashion photographer, winning awards and exhibiting her work internationally. Caitlin studied fashion photography in London and then New York on a scholarship, before finally settling in Melbourne, Australia to complete her Bachelor of Arts in Commercial Photography.

After adopting her scruffy dog, Lyra, in 2010, Caitlin quit the fashion industry and launched Ragamuffin Pet Photography. Over the course of 12 months, she grew the business from a part-time passion to a six figure career and just one year into business, was awarded the prestigious Lord Mayor's Business Award.
